An air source heat pump (ASHP) is a system that transfers heat from the outside air into your home. It can also work in reverse to cool your home during warmer months.
The Government's wishes.
As of writing this post, the Government is offering a £7500 grant for the installation of an Air Source Heat Pump,
Seems too good to be true, Well yeah... Like with everything in life; there's a catch.
To qualify for the grant, there's a few conditions you need to meet.
- Removal of your existing GAS boiler
- Installation and Specification must be compliant with MCS; The governing body that moderates installers.
